Twisted Truths

After reading a passage in Genesis, I found I have two questions and one insight.
The first question is this: It is a common phrase that, 'evil was brought into the world when Eve ate the fruit. However I see that Satan was the one to tempt her...so wasn't evil already present in the world?
My second question is this: Why did Adam name Eve after God's judgement on them?
(was it because Eve needed some encouraging?) ;)

My first insight is this: Satan uses solid truth and slightly twists it to use it for his advantage. For example, when questioned about what God really said, Eve starts to change what God told both her and Adam. " You must not eat fruit from the tree that is in the middle of the garden and you must not touch it, or you will die." God never said to not touch it- that was Eve starting to show signs that the seeds of doubt Satan planted were growing. This shows me that I need to know inside and out, what exactly God says to me. If I hear anything, I must write it down and never doubt what God tells me.
